She will again be joined by a live mini-orchestra, musical guest acts and will showcase her old favourites and some material from her new album. Not to be missed! Ticket information coming soon. Friday 8th June The Consett Citizen's Choir Annual Concert The Empire Theatre, Consett, County Durham Rebecca is very excited to be booked as the Guest Soloist for the Consett Citizen's Choir's annual concert. Rebecca will be performing a wide selection of her most popular repertoire, including some dazzling operatic arias recently added to her repertoire. Ticket information coming soon. Friday 1st July - Radio/online BBC Radio North Yorkshire 3.35pm on 103.7FM North Yorkshire and online Rebecca will be a guest with Ellie Fiorintini on the Drivetime programme. She will discuss her forthcoming concert, her charity fundraising and play a track from her album. Sunday 3rd July - York Rebecca Newman Live in Concert! 7pm, The Joseph Rowntrees Theatre, York, North Yorkshire Featuring special guests Ben Thapa & Rebecca Gardner Phone 01904 623 568 or click here to book. Saturday 10th & Sunday 11th September - Exmouth Centre Stage 40th Anniversary Concert The Pavilion, Exmouth, Devon, time tbc. Rebecca is delighted to be joining her former youth theatre group for their 40th anniversay concert at Exmouth Pavilion, the place where Rebecca first started at only 14 when she played Julie Jordan in Carousel. Sunday 9th October - Radio/Online BBC Radio North Yorkshire 9am-10am Rebecca will be a guest on BBC Radio North Yorkshire with Julia Booth, approx. 9am-10am doing the newspaper review, playing a track from my new CD and chatting about her career. Saturday 3rd December - Scarborough The Spa Grand Hall, Scarborough 7.30pm. The Spa Grand Hall, Scarbrough, North Yorkshire Guest soloist for the extremely popular annual event the Festive Spectacular Christmas concert. Hosted by BBC Look North presenter Harry Gration Also featuring the United Schools Choir and Celebration Brass. Tickets £9 (£7 concession) or £27 family ticket. |
Roadshow 2012! Proudly Supporting Childline The following performances are free of charge, outdoor performances around the UK. Generally, performances will take place between 11am-2pm and are weather permitting. Rebecca will be performing a wide selection of operatic arias and musical classics. Through her CD sales and these performances, Rebecca has raised over £5,000 for Childline since October 2008! New dates are added all the time, so please check back for updates.
