Some feedback from Rebecca's headline concert on Sunday 3rd July 2011, The Joseph Rowntree Theatre, York: "I just wanted to say what a lovely concert
it was on Sunday evening. Your singing was as glorious as ever and the
mini orchestra were excellent. We eagerly await your new album
next year. Well done on achieving your fundraising target and good luck
on raising lots more money for that important charity. Love Gareth and
Tracie" "Just to say we really enjoyed sunday's
concert and we will defo be there at your next one. The line up
of guests you had were brilliant but you were exceptional and you
really deserved the standing ovation you recieved. Best wishes, mick
& val" "Thanks
for a fantastic concert last Sunday evening - it ended all too
soon!!!" "Many
congratulations on the lovely concert last night. Myself, my
fiance Neil and friend Linda enjoyed every minute. I hope you are
feeling great today knowing that all your hard work paid off!.
Every song was a delight and how nice to hear the stories you told of
your life and the story behind some of the songs. ie... you'll never
walk alone... I always thought of football but the real story is so
much more moving. Songbird is fabulous... a definite song for our
wedding. Your last song "I could have danced all night" took me
back many years... my mum used to sing this to my dad. The guests
were also great choices. .."
Carol, Wakefield General guestbook messages and feedback: ***** ***** "I first came across Rebecca while
browsing on the Internet four years ago. I became a fan instantly and
as my son was making arrangements for his wedding I contacted Rebecca
and wondered if she could sing at his wedding and I was pleasantly
surprised that she could oblige us. All the guests loved her singing
and she really made the Wedding mass so special. I have all of
Rebecca's CD's and am really looking forward to her new Christmas CD at
the end of this month. I also met her in Solihull during the summer and
I want to "THANK" her for singing Danny Boy that day for me. She is
blessed with a magnificant voice a pleasure to listen to and is a
lovely girl too and I wish her all the luck in the world with her new
CD." ***** "I saw
Rebecca for the first time on a visit to York in August 2010. We were
just walking up the street and had not seen her performing, but heard
her lovely voice and got goose bumps all over. She is a fantastic
singer and deserves to be on a world stage. I hope somebody in the
industry hears her and signs her up, she really deserves a wider
audience!" ***** "I heard you singing in
York on Tuesday
23rd March 2010. It was fantastic! Your beautiful voice made the hairs
stand up on the back of my neck! You made me cry. Thank you so much for
bringing
me such joy." *****
"Thank you again for such a fantastic performance at my party. I will never forget this birthday party and you made it just perfect. When I play your CDs it brings my party back to me with much happiness. Guests keep asking me about you and how they can hear you again and some wanted to know how to book you for events. I refer them to your web site. I am sure this year you will take off professionally in a big way and I am glad to know you. Thank you so much." Jenny Laycock, York, 22/06/10 "I've just returned home
after hearing you
sing in York this lunchtime and wanted to see if you had a website. So
not only do I now discover your pedigree but I've also been able to
listen to your various sample tracks. The music from Les Mis is a
favourite and your two songs are beautiful. Many congratulations. It
was lovely of you to sign the CD and you may recall that I mentioned
that your rendition of 'Somewhere' gave me a moist eye - and in the
middle of York! Whatever next.... May I wish you great success in the
future. I met Katherine Jenkins at a charity do in Aberdeen back when
she was an emerging star, and look what happened to her. Let's hope I'm
a good omen. Thanks for singing today and for making my visit to York
so memorable."
Stuart, York, 3/7/09 ***** "I am just writing to thank you so much for signing my CD in Lincoln. It was incredible to hear you today, your voice was angelic, exquisite and sensational. It was a real joy to view such a passionate musical performance on Lincoln High St. You melted my heart singing my favourite songs and it made my day so special.... I am very much a fan after today." Edward Hartopp, Lincoln, 28/5/10 ***** "I'm a big fan of yours
now
since seeing you perfom in York Shopping Centre on a recent day
trip last month. You signed a copy of
your Memory
CD for me which I have played ever since. I hope that I'll be
able to see you perform again live soon."
